The TouchPrint™ Enhanced
Definition 4100 Extreme is a slap and roll live scan system capable of
quickly capturing the highest quality images in the industry in harsh environments.
Combine all the benefits of our Enhanced Definition imaging technology,
intuitive capture features like easy-to-understand LEDs and audio cues,
and a solid, sealed construction to withstand the toughest challenges.
The TouchPrint™ Extreme is
the first and only live scan system in the industry to pass both the relevant
environmental tests issued by the United State Department of Defense (DoD),
known as MIL-STD-810F, and the IP65 rating classification defined by the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC 60529). Additionally, a
number of rugged feature upgrades make the TouchPrint™ Enhanced Definition
4100 Extreme the most durable live scan available today.
Withstands rigorous MIL-STD-810F
environmental tests: The TouchPrint™ Extreme has passed thorough, stringent
tests including Shock (Method 516.5), Vibration (Method 514.5), Rain (Method
506.4), High Temperature (Method 501.4), Low Temperature (Method 502.4),
Humidity (Method 507.4), Temperature Shock (Method 503.4), and Low-Pressure
(Method 500.4).
IP rated for ingress protection:
With a certified ingress protection rating of IP65, the TouchPrint™ Extreme
is completely sealed and protected against the intrusion of dust or water
projected at the housing from any direction.
Built rugged from the
inside out: The enclosure of the TouchPrint™ Extreme is made of a high-impact
polycarbonate ABS blend, and is further protected with shock-reducing bumpers.
Internally, the shock-mounted optics base, made from cast aluminum, is
secured to the casing with rubber insulators. Sealed with protective gaskets
in key locations throughout the device, the TouchPrint™ Extreme is ready
for anything. JumpKits including the TouchPrint™ Extreme are available
upon request.
